This was a 5 week project done as part of a Publication Design course at Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology. The final outcome was a 28 paged book on the evolution of denim, after lots of trial and error, experimentation with layouts, and critiques.
I have made use of existing historical and contemporary images and played around with their warmth, hierarchy in relation to content and each other, color, transparency and overlay to bring out the content of this curated book.
The grid is a 3x3 square column grid, and the page size is 8.75"x8.75"
Fonts used: Futura, Bebas and Caslon Regular
(I do not own any of the content or images (except front and back cover photos) and have simply curated and edited these while siting and giving credit, to be able to accomplish my explorations in layout, grids, type and imagery for college project work.)
